Dustless sandblasting has the unique ability to clean old or new brick, block, and stone without opening up or damaging the face, causing negative efflorescence and zero discoloration or mottling. Dustless sandblasting can also restore wood structures without damaging the wood or raising the grains.
Dustless sandblasting is commonly used to clean and polish old wrought-iron, surface metals, and statues without causing damage or affecting the integrity of the surface. Care should always be taken to test a small area first and always start with fine GlassBlast, working up to the courser sizes to get the required results (see ecoquip.com).
All application can be accomplished without causing any damage to the landscape or vegetation, as well as the surrounding surfaces. When using GlassBlast you are using an environmentally inert product that only needs to be cleaned up when housekeeping is the issue. Remember to test the coating to be removed if you suspect it will have a negative effect on the environment or you need to be in compliance with federal and state laws.
